Tahoe will host NHL games in February
Fans are prohibited from attending the hockey games due to COVID-19 restrictions. Even so, the games will bring up to 400 people into the Lake Tahoe area, including players, staff and media, which could put pressure on a region already dealing with a surge in COVID-19 cases. As of Thursday, the Greater Sacramento area, which includes the California side of Lake Tahoe, had 17.4% ICU availability.
