DETROIT (AP) — Guitar icon Carlos Santana collapsed on stage during a show at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston and was rushed to a hospital, later blaming the episode on forgetting to eat or drink water. Santana, 74, was “doing well” Wednesday after being taken from his show to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston for observation Tuesday night, manager Michael Vrionis in a statement. 3 People Arrested In Shooting Death Of Ypsilanti Township Man On Facebook Live
YPSILANTI, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) — Two women and one man have been arrested in connection to the death of a Ypsilanti Township man who was shot and killed while live on Facebook last month. According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened at about 11 a.m. on June 28 in the 1000 block of Nash Avenue. Eastern Michigan University Launches Program Exposing High School Girls To Careers In Aviation
YPSILANTI, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) — Eastern Michigan University’s Digital Divas program is gearing up to bring aviation to Metro Detroit high school girls next month. The free program — a partnership with STEM Flights — aims to introduce students to a day in the life of a woman in aviation. (CBS DETROIT) — The Detroit Police Department is searching for a suspect who shot a 51-year-old man on June 26. Police say at about 1:25 a.m., the suspect was riding a bike in the area of Kendall and 14th streets when they fired shots, hitting the victim, before fleeing the scene. Ypsilanti Teens Accused Of Stealing Vehicle Arrested After Police Chase Ends In Fiery Crash
YPSILANTI, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) — Two Ypsilanti teens, ages 17 and 15, were arrested Tuesday after police say they stole a vehicle in a home invasion and led police on a chase. According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, a woman in Superior Township called authorities at about 7:35 a.m. and said she was sleeping when a neighbor woke and informed her that her door was open and some belongings were across the yard. The woman also reported that her vehicle was stolen.
