Andrea Earnest , Patch Staff Posted Reply ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Fourth of July is just about a month away, and Romeoville residents can save the date for the Fourth of July fireworks show, which will be held July 3. Three simultaneous shows will be held once again in Romeoville, one at Lukancic Middle School, one at Volunteer Park, and one at Discovery Park. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. According to the Village, the three separate locations allow residents to view the fireworks from their neighborhoods. Parking lots at the three locations will be closed, due to liability and distancing required for fireworks. Choreographed music will be available on Star 96.7 FM radio. Second St. The fest features a carnival, live music, fireworks, an artisan market, food trucks and more. Carnival mega passes are already on sale, and available for $55 until June 7. Price is $65 if purchased at the event. Carnival hours are 5 to 11:30 p.m. on June 8 and June 9, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on June 10, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 11. A parade will be held on June 9, and steps off at 6 p.m., marching through downtown Lockport on State Street, according to the event website.
