11:05 a.m. San Mateo County resists watch-list designation: San Mateo County health chief Louise Rogers said Tuesday she will continue pressing California officials to lift the latest restrictions on businesses. The state put the county on the state monitoring list Saturday, forcing closure of barbershops and salons, gyms, malls, nonessential offices and places of worship. 6:05 p.m. Twitter blocked new tweets from ‘Team Trump’ account: Twitter officials said Wednesday they banned Trump’s campaign account, “Team Trump,” until it removed a post containing misinformation on the coronavirus, according to the Washington Post. The account tweeted a video from a clip of an interview Trump conducted with Fox News on Wednesday morning. Trump said, without evidence, that, “If you look at children, children are almost — and I would almost say, definitely, but almost —immune from this disease.” Twitter spokeswoman Liz Kelley told the Post that the tweet violated the company’s “Twitter Rules on COVID-19 misinformation.
