The Anne Arundel Mock Trial league closed out its regular season with thirteen public and private schools vying for top ranking. Severna Park beat Rockbridge Academy and Crofton High school won against North County High School. Police say the 28-year-old suspected of killing six people at a Christian school Monday actually had another location chosen but decided to forego it because it had a higher level of security. The suspect in the Christian school shooting was named by police as 28-year-old Audrey Hale. Nashville police confirm today’s shooter identifier as a transgender. The shooter was a woman who identified as a man. The shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Hale, who once attended the school, was killed after being confronted by officers. Below is what we know about this developing story. Shortly after 10 a.m. on Monday, a shooter opened fire at the Covenant School , a private Christian school attached to a church enrolling roughly 200 students from pre-K through sixth grade, with 30 faculty members. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department were called to The Covenant School at 10:13 a.m. Monday for reports of an active shooter. Just 14 minutes later, the suspected shooter—identified by authorities as 28-year-old Audrey Elizabeth Hale —was shot dead by officers on the second floor. The suspected shooter who killed three children and three adults at a school in Nashville on Monday morning sent a series of dark messages to a friend in the minutes leading up to the attack, according to a report. Police identified Audrey Hale , 28, as the person responsible for the bloodshed at the Covenant School. In a statement , authorities said the first 911 call about shots being fired at the private Christian school was made at 10:13 a.m. Just minutes earlier, a former middle school basketball teammate of Hale’s told WTVF she received an Instagram message from the alleged killer. “I’m planning to die today,” the message sent to Averianna Patton read. “THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!!” Hale followed up by telling Patton that: “You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die.
