If one thing can be gleaned from Fox News’ scorched-earth reaction to the FBI raid on Donald Trump’s private Florida estate, it’s this: The growing sentiment that the cable giant has been trying to distance itself from the disgraced ex-president may have been a bit premature. For more than a year, Fox seemingly wandered the post-Trump wilderness, legally unable to play along with the disgraced ex-president’s election lies and drawing his ire in the process. But now, with the opportunity to stoke unhinged outrage over a warrant executed at Trump’s home, Fox News may have found a consequence-free (for them, at least) way to restore its MAGA mojo. Even though the bureau executed the search warrant on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate early Monday morning, news of the unprecedented raid of a former president’s home didn’t become public until that evening. It was eventually reported that the search was related to Trump taking classified documents from the White House as he left office—a … [Read more...] about FBI’s Trump Raid Is the MAGA Fuel Fox News Was Waiting For

‘Fox & Friends’ Is Now Begging Trump to Love Them Again
Three days after former President Donald Trump tore into his Fox & Friends pals , seemingly widening the Fox News-Trump rift , his one-time morning besties have begun to practically beg the ex-president to love them again. During Monday’s broadcast of Fox’s flagship morning show, the hosts discussed a straw poll from right-wing youth organization Turning Point USA’s latest conference that showed Trump received 79 percent support as the 2024 GOP presidential nominee. Co-host Steve Doocy , however, cautiously noted that other recent polls showed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis—a figure conservative media has increasingly rallied around as a Trump alternative—edging out the former president. “So, it’s like the young people who are activists at that event like the former president but, looking at these other polls, different answer,” Doocy added. Obviously watching his favorite morning show that day (like every other day ending in Y), Trump quickly took to his social … [Read more...] about ‘Fox & Friends’ Is Now Begging Trump to Love Them Again
Trump Turns on His Besties Over at ‘Fox & Friends’
The Trump-Fox News rift widened on Monday when former President Donald Trump went off on the hosts of Fox & Friends. The morning show, once Trump’s favorite cable-news program , hosted by three of his most loyal sycophants , is now apparently out for blood against the former president—at least according to Trump himself. “@foxandfriends just really botched my poll numbers, no doubt on purpose. That show has been terrible—gone to the ‘dark side,’” Trump posted Monday to Truth Social, complaining the show pointed out too many “outliers” from right-wing youth org Turning Point USA’s straw poll among its Tampa confab this past weekend, which showed the ex-president holding about 79 percent support. The Fox & Friends segment in question did note Trump’s overwhelming popularity among the conference-goers, but host Steve Doocy heavily caveated the results. “You have got people from all across the country convening in Tampa. I’m thinking about that is a little different … [Read more...] about Trump Turns on His Besties Over at ‘Fox & Friends’

NEW You can now listen to Fox News articles! FIRST ON FOX: Veteran political strategists James Carville and Ed Rollins aren't quite seeing eye to eye on the political impact the FBI's raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home could have on the midterm elections. But Rollins, a Republican, predicted the event could end up being the "biggest issue in the midterms." "The attorney general and the FBI need to explain to the American public what they were doing … [Read more...] about Reagan, Clinton advisers divided on whether Mar-a-Lago raid will become ‘biggest issue in the midterms’
