The Bus Network Redesign, or Better Bus Project, has been in the works at the MBTA since 2018. The project aims to reimagine the bus system in Boston for the residents who need it most, from offering more midday, evening and weekend service to adding new bus routes. The MBTA calls the plan a "once-in-a-generation opportunity."
