Police said that at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 900 block of Springview Drive for the report of a residential burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers found that a glass door was entered at the rear of the home. Security cameras revealed four men dressed in black clothing and wearing ski-style masks entered the backyard of the property from Gravel Hill Road, police said. A passing motorist told police about a black Mercedes Benz sedan parked on the shoulder of Gravel Road partially blocking traffic at the time of the burglary. Burglars ransacked a car May 17 in the 8200 block of Charles Avenue. The resident parked their vehicle in the driveway on May 16. When they returned to their vehicle the next day, police said the vehicle had been ransacked. The burglars took approximately $300. City News Service , News Partner Posted Reply EL CAJON, CA — An unconscious person was rushed to the hospital Thursday after being involved in a double rollover crash and getting ejected from the vehicle in the El Cajon area of San Diego. The crash, involving a pickup and black Mercedes-Benz, was reported around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound I-8 at El Cajon, according to the California Highway Patrol. Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the Mercedes overturned and up an embankment, while the pickup was upside down on the freeway lanes, according to ABC 10.
