The menu includes candy carnitas, fruit pops, chicken and waffles and more, $55 including a welcome mimosa. After brunch, the hotel’s AYA onsite day club will offer a live DJ and drinks. Firefighters Rescue Dog Trapped on Santa Monica Cliff
0 Kids & Family A pooch managed to wedge itself high up into a cliffside crevice in Santa Monica. Paige Austin , Patch Staff Posted Reply Firefighters today rescued a dog that became wedged in a cliff-side crevice in Santa Monica. The rescue took place about 2:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Santa Monica Fire Department. The dog was retrieved by firefighters who used a ladder to reach it high on the coastal bluff, according to NBC4. The animal was then reunited with its owner. Couple Sues Santa Monica Doctor for Failure to Detect Son’s Fetal Defects in Time for Abortion
0 Kids & Family A couple, whose son has endured more than 100 surgeries, is suing their OBGYN for not telling them of his fetal defects in time to abort. Paige Austin , Patch Staff Posted Reply Two doctors are being sued by a couple who allege they failed to detect problems with the woman’s fetus until the month before the child was born, depriving them of a legal basis on which to abort the fetus. Bruce and Kimberly Lerner filed the wrongful life suit Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court against Santa Monica Dr. Lisa Masterson, an OB-GYN and Dr. Clifford Bochner, a Beverly Grove perinatologist. The suit seeks unspecified damages. The couple’s son, Jacob Lerner, has undergone multiple surgeries to correct his defects since his birth in March 2007 and also is a plaintiff, the suit states.
