Another person who worked with acclaimed producer Scott Rudin is speaking out about his alleged "abusive, racist and sexist behavior." Annapurna Pictures founder Megan Ellison took to Twitter on Wednesday to boost the claims made against Rudin by former staffers, who claimed to The Hollywood Reporter that he physically and mentally abused people under his employ and wasn’t shy about maliciously targeting the careers of up-and-coming producers who crossed him. Ellison, who previously worked with Rudin on the Joel and Ethan Coen movie "True Grit" in 2010, took to Twitter to accuse Rudin of more toxic behavior than was outlined in the article and compared him to disgraced movie mogul and convicted rapist, Harvey Weinstein . According to IndieWire , Ellison is coming from a place of personal experience when she compares working with Rudin to Weinstein. She also worked with the imprisoned producer on titles like "Lawless," "The Master" and "Killing Them Softly." The outlet also notes that this isn’t her first time condemning the behavior of Rudin publicly. A New Jersey man pleaded guilty to smuggling contraband into a federal prison with a drone as well as possession of heroin and fentanyl Tuesday. Jason Arteaga-Loayza, also known as "Juice," was an inmate at the correctional facility in Fort Dix from June 2017 to September 2018. A month after he got out, he and his co-conspirators started coordinating to fly a drone over the prison grounds and drop cell phones, tobacco, weight loss supplements and other forms of contraband to an inmate still inside the federal correctional facility. They would then sell the contraband to other prisoners for a profit. A New Jersey man pleaded guilty to smuggling contraband into the federal correctional facility in Fort Dix with a drone. (Federal Bureau of Prisons) DRUG RUNNER'S CAT CAUGHT TRYING TO SNEAK NARCOTICS INTO PANAMA PRISON Adrian Goolcharran, Nicolo Denichilo and Johansel Moronta have also been charged in the scheme. Goolcharran, who is accused of flying the drone, would camp out in the woods near the prison and fly the drones in the evening hours or overnight to avoid detection. He also put tape over the drone's lights to make it harder for prison officials to spot them. Authorities eventually got wind of the scheme and searched Arteaga-Loayza’s residence on June 27, 2019. They found cell phones, empty cell phone boxes, empty boxes of SIM cards and a Bugler tobacco box. Police also found a suitcase that contained 21 grams of a heroin and fentanyl mixture, as well as 20 packets of Suboxone, a prescription medicine used to treat opioid dependence. Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a migrant who allegedly raped a fellow traveler as they journeyed to the U.S. The agents worked with the Santa Cruz County, Arizona, Sheriff’s Office to help identify the suspected rapist after the victim came forward. Nogales Station Border Patrol agents apprehended a migrant woman east of Amado, Arizona, on April 14, according to information received from U.S. Border Patrol officials. The woman said a fellow migrant robbed and sexually assaulted her while they traveled with a group. #BorderPatrol agents and @SCCSheriff deputies team up to identify and arrest a suspected rapist near Amado, #Arizona . The agents arrested a man and searched his belongings. Chauvin, 45, was charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. With Americans on edge as they awaited the verdict, the jury announced that it has found him guilty across the board. His bail was immediately revoked and he was led away with his hands cuffed behind his back. Cheers and cars honking could be heard outside the Hennepin County Courthouse as the verdict was read.
