For all the chatter about a looming recession in the United States or Europe, it's important to remember: right now, forecasters don't expect the global economy to contract. Instead, we're looking at a slowdown — and there are signs it could last longer than many economists initially anticipated. The question on my mind recently: Is the successor to the Great Recession the Great Stagnation? That's certainly the warning embedded in the new economic outlook from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The group now forecasts that global GDP growth will sit at 2.9% in both 2019 and 2020, the lowest annual rate of growth since the financial crisis. Tesla unveiled its long-awaited pickup on Thursday, a futuristic "Cybertruck" at a Sci-Fi-style event with gimmicks and a cheering crowd. Not everything went to plan. During an elaborate demonstration of the strength of the car's new unbreakable glass, CEO Elon Musk asked one of the people onstage to try to break its windows. They shattered. "Maybe that was a little too hard," he said, punctuating his reaction with an expletive. It was an awkward, off-script moment in an already over-the-top spectacle of machismo, strength and bold disruption, aimed at generating hype for a product that seemed like a real-life manifestation of something in the vein of a Batmobile. The new episode of “SEAL Team” looks like it’s going to be lit. The plot of the eighth episode of season three, according to CBS’ press center, is: “While Jason is sidelined with an injury, Ray takes over as Bravo 1 and leads the team on a mission to rescue a marine pilot who was shot down in enemy territory.” (REVIEW: ‘SEAL Team’ Explores Jason’s Future In Great Episode ‘The Ones You Can’t See’)In the preview, we can see Sonny encouraging Jason to get the surgery, and we also see Bravo engaged in a brief firefight. “SEAL Team” took a hard look at Jason’s future in the new episode “The Ones You Can’t See.” WARNING: THERE ARE GOING TO BE SPOILERS BELOW. DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU AREN’T CAUGHT UP. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.There were two main storylines in the seventh episode of season three. First, Jason contemplates surgery on an injured groin and what the future holds for him.
