RJ Scofield , Patch Staff Posted Reply NORWALK, CT — The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will open its doors free of charge to ticket holders as part of Smithsonian magazine's 18th annual "Museum Day" event Sept. 17 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. According to a news release, the event is part of an initiative in which participating museums across the United States open their doors to anyone who downloads a branded ticket without charging admission. The annual event allows museums, zoos and cultural centers from all 50 states to emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington, D.C.-based facilities, which offer free admission every day. The Hindustan Times is reporting at least 50 deaths following the collision involving the Coromandel Express in Odisha, in which four of its cars derailed. "Distressed by the train accident in Odisha. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families," India Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter. "May the injured recover soon.
