The two Evanston seniors instead rose to the occasion and captured individual titles --- in the 60-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash, respectively --- to cap their indoor track seasons at the Illinois Prep Top Times Class 3A meet. Only the best competitors in each event statewide earn an invitation to what is regarded as the unofficial indoor state finals.
