Bank of America is preparing to close another area branch, this time in the Town of Hamburg. The bank will shut its location at Southwestern Boulevard and Rogers Road on Nov. 6, according to the bank's website. Bank of America has another branch in the village of Hamburg, at 43 Main St. The Southwestern Boulevard location, which the bank leases, sits at the front of a plaza containing a Walmart supercenter. Among 20 Erie County branches operated last year by Bank of America, the Southwestern location ranked 14th in deposits, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data. Bank of America earlier this year closed a branch in Niagara Falls and is preparing to close its Lewiston location, at 767 Cayuga St., on Oct. 30. Co-working boom arrives at SF’s venerable Bank of America complex
For decades, the 1971 glass cube at San Francisco’s 345 Montgomery St. was the flagship retail location for Bank of America, which had its global headquarters next door. But the bank’s headquarters moved to North Carolina after a 1998 merger. It later closed the retail space. Next year, 345 Montgomery will see new life: Co-working company Spaces signed a 78,000-square-foot lease to occupy the entire building, which is in the midst of a $45 million top-to-bottom renovation. It is Spaces’ third and largest location in the city, after 95 Third St. and 1160 Battery St.. It marks another expansion for the booming co-working industry, which charges office workers monthly fees for shared desks and private offices. Andrew Goudsward Asbury Park Press Published 5:27 p.m. UTC Jul 31, 2018 OCEAN - Police investigated a robbery Route 35 Bank of America branch Tuesday afternoon, officials at the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office confirmed. Police at the scene said the bank was closed and referred questions to the prosecutor's office, but details on the robbery were not immediately available. The bank sits at the edge of Ocean Plaza, a sprawling shopping plaza near the intersection of Sunset Avenue. Shortly after the robbery was reported, a few grey Ocean police cruisers were parked near the bank. An officer directing traffic told patrons the bank would be closed for a few hours. A group of uniformed and plain clothes officers huddled near the entrance of the building, some talking on the phone and others scrawling down notes. Bank of America to close Lewiston branch
Bank of America has notified regulators it will close a location at 767 Cayuga St. in the Village of Lewiston on Oct. 30. The bank is still deciding whether to keep at ATM operating at the site, said Tara Burke, a bank spokeswoman. Bank of America owns the location that will close. Burke said Bank of America considers a variety of factors, such as customer traffic, when it decides to close a branch. As of June 2017, the most recently available statistics from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Cayuga Street branch had $44 million in deposits, second lowest among the four Niagara County branches Bank of America had at the time. He was born in Wichita, Kan. So this thoroughly American couple ignored a form that the bank mailed them about a month ago asking, among other things, whether Josh Collins was a citizen or could claim dual citizenship with another country. Jessica said she tossed the letter because she and Josh “thought it was a scam.” – until the bank cut off access to their money.
