MOORHEAD — Authorities here are accusing a 19-year-old man of robbing three individuals in a drug deal that went wrong on Sunday, May 12. Zachery Elijah Roberson, of Moorhead, is charged with three felony counts of first-degree aggravated robbery in connection with the incident, according to documents filed May 17, in Clay County District Court. According to court documents: On Sunday morning, authorities responded to the area of 36th Avenue and 11th Street South in Moorhead on a report of a robbery. Victims told police they had been driving in south Moorhead when they encountered two men and allowed one of them into their vehicle. listen live watch live The man, later identified as Roberson, produced a gun and demanded their money, court documents stated. The three victims turned over two wallets and $50 in cash. The victims later told police they had been driving to meet someone and to purchase marijuana. One victim told police said she looked through Facebook connections and located a man named Roberson whom she said looked like the person who robbed them. She later identified Roberson in a photo lineup, court documents said.
