Oklahoma City’s Red Earth has partnered with Science Museum Oklahoma, 2020 Remington Place, for its latest art exhibition, “She Persisted,” on view through May 28 on the second level Art Gallery. “She Persisted” features award-winning female artists with artwork that runs the spectrum from stained glass mosaics to leather, basketry to watercolor, and pottery to oil. History Center opens new exhibit The Oklahoma History Center, 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive, is currently exhibiting the latest Mike Wimmer project, “Will Work For … .” This exhibit features 17 portraits and will run through June. His inspiration came when he noticed people on street corners holding signs that stated that they “Will Work For Food.” He began to ask people of every social group what they would work for.
