ANGELICA RIVERA SAID SHE HAD MADE THE DECISION TO DIVORCE FORMER PRESIDENT PENA NIETO (CNN) – Former president of Mexico, Enrique Pena Nieto, and former first lady of Mexico, Angelica Rivera, aren’t a couple anymore. Rivera published a message on her social media announcing on Friday that she deeply regrets this painful situation for her children and that she had made the decision to file for divorce. In the message, she also said that she is focused on her role as mother and on resuming her acting career. Rivera married Pena Nieto in November 2010 after the annulment of her first marriage to a television producer with whom she had three daughters. The last time Rivera and Pena Nieto appeared together at a public ceremony was earlier this year at the funeral of the ex-governor of the State of Mexico.
