A jealous Westchester corrections officer may have committed suicide after bursting into his ex’s house and opening fire on the woman and her new beau in a wild gunfight late Friday night, police say. Yonkers cops say Edward Quinoy, 41, might have shot himself after trading bullets with the couple, who are also corrections officers in Westchester. The male and female victims were riddled with gunshots and were both hospitalized in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, police said. Their names have not yet been released. Quinoy ambushed the pair, sneaking in through a sliding door at the back of the house with a handgun, according to authorities. He started shooting and there was an exchange of gunfire before all three people were incapacitated. Cops say they found Quinoy with multiple gunshot wounds, including what appears to be a self-inflicted shot to the head. The male victim’s mom was in the house at the time of the rampage and called 911 when shots started ringing out, cops said. She was not hurt. Several handguns were found at the house. An investigation is ongoing.
