That’s exactly what will happen if you try to do that in this cold weather. So don’t attempt that stunt — even if someone triple dog dares you. It was 31 degrees in Boston at 6 a.m. Thursday morning, and although we should have sunny skies throughout the day, it won’t feel much warmer. The highs around Boston should peak around 40, according to the National Weather Service. “Another shot of cold air will move in this afternoon and evening as a mid level system and associated surface front pushes across the region,” forecasters said. “A few snow showers are possible late tonight into tonight as a front passes.” Advertisement The scattered snow showers will mainly be in the Berkshires and south of the Mass Pike, but there shouldn’t be much precipitation, with amounts totaling less than one-tenth of an inch, forecasters said.
