Demi Lovato on Sunday posted a message to fans just weeks after she was hospitalized for an apparent drug overdose to be “transparent about my journey with addiction.”
“What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time,” she wrote on her Instagram account. “It is something I must continue to overcome and have not yet done.”
